Lovely dog friendly environment created by Catrina and her family. Would not hesitate to recommend Dogs at Spencerfield. The text messages on how my dog was getting on were reassuring and Skye my border collie looked totally at home when we collected her !!

Finn thoroughly enjoyed his holiday at Spencerfield and was quickly treated like one of the family, even to the extent of having cuddles on the couch! He made a lasting friendship with Looi and they enjoyed each other's company.
Finn returned looking very fit from all the long walks, and his coat was clean and well groomed, which put us both to shame!I would have no problem in recommending Catrina and Spencerfield to any dog lover. He will most certainly be back

We took Theo to Spencerfield for the first time in 2011, I have to say with great trepidation. Prior to this we had left him with my mother when we went on holiday. This year, 2012 he had his second holiday with Catrina and her family and it is like home from home.
He was looked after as we would look after him ourselves and he came back to us after a fortnight the same happy, healthy dog.
I would most definitely take Theo back for future holidays and would recommend Dogs at Spencerfield to anyone looking for a safe, happy, home from home environment. Only though, as long as there is room for Theo when it comes time for our holidays!

From the first meeting with Catrina (and Louis!) I was reassured that my dog would be cared for and looked after to the same level as he would be at home. During our ‘doggy interview’, Catrina took the time to ask questions and find out about our routine, so as to help settle our dog into life with her and her family when we were away. We had tried a few other ‘home boarding’ services prior to finding Dogs at Spencerfield, however were never quite happy with the service we received – for a variety of reasons. The customer service we receive at Spencerfield – and the care our dog receives – ensures we need look no further! It may be a cliché, but our dog really is part of our family! Although we love to travel, it’s important to us that our furball also gets a holiday! I can enjoy my holiday, confident that Kal is happy and content staying at Spencerfield! There’s no doubt that our dog recognises where he is when we get close to Catrina’s door – and he’s anything but distressed!

From the minute we went down for an early visit we realised this was a loving Family who would take care of Molly. Upon returning to pick her up 1 week later we could not believe how happy she looked with her new family and doggy friends. She loved her holiday and I believe she looked sad leaving. I will not hesitate in asking Catrina to watch Molly again

Speedy had a trial night with Catrina and Kobe and got on really well. She made herself at home straight away and didn’t look back when we left her. She got on great with Kobe and settled really well at night, which gave us peace of mind. We look forward to booking a longer stay in 2020. Spencerfield is the perfect place for small dogs.

Wow ! Just got my little Coco back after 8 days at Spencerfield she is knackered but had the best fun ever ! The pictures say it all really but this place is amazing quiet and perfect for little doggies to run mad ! Catrina makes you feel very comfortable and has a real passion for what she does ! Coco has already booked for her next trip ! If you have a loved wee one check this place out you wouldn’t be disappointed ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you again Catrina see you in Sept !!

Catrina and her family are the most loving and welcoming people. I left my little furry baby with Catrina for 2 whole weeks when he was only 20 weeks old as I went off to Spain.
Every day I got pupdates, pictures and videos and my mind was put totally at rest and I got to really relax on my break knowing that my boy was being looked after so well and that he was safe and having the time of his little doggy life playing with all of the other little furry poppets that were boarding at the same time.
My boy got on incredibly well with Catrina’s own little fur boy Kobe and I think they have formed a great doggy friendship. I trust my boy is happy to go there every time I go away and will really look forward to it.
Spencerfield truly is a delightful home from home for your little furry friend and it’s clean, safe and super comfortable... the adventures Duke had whilst in the care of Spencerfield looked so much fun (delightful long forest walks and sunbathing in the beautiful garden to name just a few) wish they took humans too!
